[TAGUIG CITY, 18 January 2024] — MDI Novare marked a transformative milestone with their AI-Novate Program, as teams gathered to embark on a journey into the realms of Generative AI (GenAI). Opening the event, Mai De Guzman, Chief Human Resources Officer, set the stage for innovation and collaboration, stating, “As the National Champion in Technology, this is our way of getting every team member to be a part of this transformative journey by exploring and experimenting what GenAI means for us at the organization and individual employee level.”
Dr. William Yu, MDI Novare’s Chief Technology Officer, delivered a keynote that not only traced the historical evolution of AI but also illuminated the revolutionary impact of GenAI. “Today marks a turning point as GenAI brings with it not just technological advancements but also Democratization of Science and Democratization of Use,” shared Dr. Yu. He highlighted the accessibility of AI algorithms and models, making integration seamless for both technical and non-technical users.
Representatives from the Solutions Consulting and Architecture and Software and Data Engineering teams also added depth to the discussion, shedding light on democratized intelligence, productivity enhancement, and the boundless possibilities that AI-Novate promises. They also provided a practical walk-through of GenAI examples tailored for non-technical roles, showcasing the program’s inclusivity.
Dennis Manset, Executive Program Manager for Capability Development, outlined the future trajectory of AI-Novate. He focused on fostering a learning mindset, driving innovation, encouraging collaboration, and highlighting GenAI-enabled work.
