[TAGUIG CITY, 01 August 2023] — MDI Novare continues its dedication to employee development and growth with its Employee Educational Assistance Benefit (EEAB). The innovative program aims to foster a culture of continuous learning within the organization and equip employees with the necessary skills to thrive in today’s fast-paced and ever-changing business landscape.

Making Education More Accessible

Through the EEAB program, employees gain access to financial support for their educational pursuits. Eligible team members can receive educational subsidies of up to Php 75,000 per semester or Php 50,000 per trimester for tuition and miscellaneous fees, with reimbursement options available.

Arcelyn Madamba, Total Rewards and Employee Services Head, highlighted the importance of acknowledging that learning goes beyond the classroom. “This financial support ensures that the pursuit of knowledge is more accessible and encourages individuals to take up diverse learning opportunities that align with their career aspirations,” she said.

To further support employees’ educational endeavors, the EEAB program provides additional benefits in the form of special leaves. Employees are granted 3 days per semester or 2 days per trimester, over and above their regular company leave entitlement, to dedicate to education-related activities, such as attending workshops, seminars, or skill development programs.

To be eligible for the EEAB program, employees must be regular and active team members at the time of application, and possess a performance rating of at least “Satisfactory” from the latest evaluation cycle. This inclusivity ensures that the benefit is available to all employees, regardless of their role or tenure, fostering a sense of equality and opportunity within the organization.

Continuous Growth and Learning while Earning

“Not many companies offer this, that’s why I really appreciate the minds behind this benefit,” said MDI Novare Senior Sourcing Specialist who is currently taking up Masters of Business Administration at the Rizal Technological University.

The MDI Novare Software Engineering Team Lead who is taking up MS Information Technology at Samar State University added that “It’s exciting to think of starting this transforming journey, discovering new concepts, and developing innovative problem-solving abilities.”

As the ceremony came to a close, MDI Novare Senior Solutions Consulting & Architecture Manager emphasized on how this benefit impacts his Masters of Technology Management education from the University of the Philippines, saying that “it means a lot to me since I can pursue my higher education for free while working and supporting my family.”

MDI Novare CEO, Victor M. Silvino, recognized this cycle’s beneficiaries of the program during an awarding ceremony held at the MDI Corporate Center in BGC, Taguig City. 

The first two beneficiaries awarded in February 2023 were Project Control Accountant Lead and Senior Sourcing Analyst employees pursuing MBA degrees from De La Salle Araneta University and Rizal Technological University respectively.
